Print. Black and white photographic print of an interior housewares display at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. The display features a series of ceramic dishware and serving dishes, including a coffee pot, cups and saucers, a creamer and sugar. Each piece of dishware features a country-style or rooster motif. The bench on top of which these are displayed and a lounge chair adjacent to the table are from the Saarinen-Swanson collection. The display is arranged atop a series of brick pavers. An enlarged image of a home patio is featured behind the display. Signage adjacent to the display reads, "TREND LIVING as expressed in ceramics… color coordinated for a casual mood." The photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "24023-4x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
