Black and white photographic print (and one negative) of people standing in a beer ration line outside of Ray's Beer Store at 10448 West Chicago Street in Detroit. A man is seen leaving the store with a case of Stroh's beer. Two Pabst Blue Ribbon beer cases, two unidentified beer cases, and a small empty wagon are seen in front of the store window. The line is long and people are lined up outside of the Nu-Way Restaurant next door. Handwritten text in black ink pen on the upper right recto reads, "Ted W. Rationing / WWII / 1944 / Ray's Beer Store / 10448 W. Chicago / Detroit." and "p.14." Handwritten text in pencil on the verso reads, "1944" and "Ray's Beer Store / 10448 W. Chicago / [?] 6616."
