One sepia-toned photograph of the Jerry Lynch car dealership which was located at 3366 Gratiot Avenue in Detroit. The view looks across Gratiot Avenue and shows the car dealership showroom building with parking lots on either side. Large signs over the showroom windows advertise "Cleanest Cars in Detroit; Jerry Lynch; 200 Cars to Choose From." Painted text in the windows advertises "Vacation Specials, The Cleanest Selection in Detroit," and "1941, 1942 Cars; All Carry Blue Seal Guarantee." One man is standing beside a car that is parked beneath an overhead door at the center front of the showroom. Another man is standing at the left side of the building near two other men are seated at a patio table with an umbrella. Further left, a fifth man is standing in front of a parked car on the lot. Handwritten pencil text on the verso reads "Jerry Lynch Motors, 1940's, 3366 Gratiot Avenue, Detroit, Michigan." A black ink stamp has text that reads "Snuffy McGill, 414 Temple Ave., Detroit 1, Mich., U.S.A." and "Press Photography, TE 1-3048, TE 1-8600, Ext. 58."
