One framed sepia-toned composite photograph of three images: a group of five men and one woman who are standing on the side of the track at Hazel Park Raceway, a horse race, and a group of men who are gathered around a race horse at the track. The upper image shows three men (left to right: trainer, L.G. Bidwell, Walter Flavin, Jerry Lynch), and an unidentified woman who are all standing at the left. All are well-dressed and the woman is holding a folded "Hazel Park" blanket or banner. The jockey, L.C. Cook, and an unidentified African American attendant are standing at the right. A large crowd of people are standing behind a fence in the background or are seated in a grandstand in the far background. The lower left image shows two race horses, #7 and ?, that are running neck and neck on the race track. The lower right image shows the jockey seated on horse #7, "In A Spin," with the trainer and two attendants standing beside them on the race track. Fencing and trees can be seen in the background in both of the lower images. The photo is held in a light gray cardboard frame that has narrow black and silver lines near the inner edge. Handwritten pen text on the frame reads "Sept. 15, H.P. {Hazel Park] 51; Mi [Mile] 1, T [Time] 1-46.1," and "The Livernois" as well as "In A Spin; L.C. Cook, Up; R.G.Bidwell - Tr [Trainer]; Jerry Lynch, Inc., Owner." A white paper label in the upper right corner has black typewritten text that identifies most of the people in the photo.
