Print. Black and white photographic print of an interior display of women's fashions made from fabrics available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Three female mannequins are featured in the display, each wearing a patterned day dress and wide-brimmed hat. An image of homes and rolling hills is visible behind the mannequins. Signage affixed to the rear of the display reads, "Self-Made Chic, Belding's Spellbound, Miracle Fabric, 39 inches wide, $1.95 yard." Also, signage placed at the feet of the mannequins reads, "As Featured, The Minute Parade, Over Station WWJ, 8:00 to 9:00 AM, Every Morning Except Sunday." Bolts of fabric are visible in the background. The photographic sequence number, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "22486-9x; Davis B. Hillmer."
