Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A female mannequin, dressed in a floral-patterned dress, accessorized with black gloves and hat, is positioned behind a large ornamented frame. A Vogue Pattern Book and signage are visible in the foreground, and read, "Dress, Vogue Pattern, 5867; Wesley Simpson's Heavenly Garden Prints, Pure Dye Silk, As Featured in VOGUE PATTERN BOOK, 39 inches wide." Three differing styles of patterned fabric are draped across the left side of the display, and affixed through a lion head knocker. The date, photographic sequence number, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "10-24-46; 22670 x; Davis B. Hillmer."
