Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A female mannequin, dressed in patterned daywear stands in front of a large drape of the same patterned fabric her dress is composed from. The fabric is affixed to the ceiling as well as a metal wire sculpture. Solid colored fabric is also draped through a secondary wire sculpture; the mannequin appears to be holding onto the metal sculpture. Signage affixed to the sculpture reads, "Paying Court to Spring, Fashion Show, Presented by Mrs. Marion Blackington, Vogue Stylist." Also, signage in the central foreground reads, "Bianchini Print 'Adorable' Rayon Fiberset Fabric, 39 Inches Wide, $4.95 yard, Rayon Fabric Shop, Third Floor, Farmer." The date, photographic sequence number, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "1-9-47; 22727-5x; Davis B. Hillmer."
