Print, Photographic

Sepia-toned photo of the first Whitney's Grand Opera House, taken from the southeast corner of Fort Street and Shelby Street facing northwest. A sign surrounding the base of the street light pole on the corner in the foreground advertises, "Matinees Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturday." Several posters are posted around the building. Snow has collected on the ground and the surfaces of the theater and its neighboring buildings. The photo has a cardstock backing.
