Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of an interior display at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A patterned upholstered chair is featured in the display, neighboring a small wood and glass hutch which displays home décor pieces. Differing patterns, styles and types of fabrics are draped amongst the home furnishings. Signage affixed to the right background of the display reads, "House & Garden Says: Distinctive fabrics makes distinctive rooms, Brunschwig & Fils took our prize-winning designs to make these prize-winning fabrics." The photographic sequence number, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "22788-3x; Davis B. Hillmer." The date is hand-written on the verso, "1947."
