Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring Forstmann's Plaid Fabrics at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A female mannequin is dressed in a plaid overcoat, matching skirt and blouse, and stands amongst the same plaid fabric draped throughout the display. A large bodhisattva is visible on the left side of the display, adjacent to signage which reads, "Forstmann's Plaid Coating, Textured Wool with a Fall Not of Importance, 54 inches wide, $7.95 yard, Wool Fabric Shop, 3rd Floor, Gratiot… Section C." Smaller signage in the central foreground reads, "Vogue Fashion Show, 'The Shapes of Wool.. .As It Becomes You,' September 1to 3, 3 o'clock, Mrs. Marion Blackington, Guest Commentator."
