Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring spring fabrics available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A female mannequin dressed in a skirt, blouse, and jacket, stands next to a bodhisattva statue that is featured holding a sign which reads, "Bolero Suit, Vogue Pattern 6976." Differing colors of fabric are draped throughout the display. Signage affixed to the left rear of the display reads, "For Springs New Silhouettes, Wool and Rayon Faille by Skinner, is crisp-yet-pliant in 1950 tones, 42 inches wide, $3.95 yard, Rayon Fabric Shop, 3rd Floor, Farmer… Section B." Also, smaller signage at the foot of the statue reads, "Fashions Drawn in Women's Favor, a fabric-fashion show presented by Mrs. Marion Blackington, Vogue Stylist, Thursday through Saturday, March 16 through 18, 3 o'clock, Rayon Fabric Shop, Third Floor, Section C." The date, photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "3-15-50; 24008; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
