One black and white photograph of the Joseph Mack Printing House which was located at the northeast corner of John R. and Elizabeth Streets in Detroit. The elevated view looks northeastward from the YMCA Building, located at the northwest corner of East Adams and Witherell Streets, and shows the front of the 7-story, white stone office and printing factory building. Elizabeth Street can be see running diagonally left and right near the lower edge of the photo. John R Street can be seen at the lower right corner. Various apartment buildings, residential homes, and commercial/office buildings can be seen in the background. Handwritten pencil text on the verso reads "View of Detroit from YMCA Bldg., 1919."
