Print. Sepia-toned photographic print of a home furnishings display at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. An upholstered wing-back chair, arm chair, and davenport are accompanied by end tables, a side table, and sofa table which are adorned with illuminated lamps, vases, and ornamental pieces. A large floral tapestry is hung on the rear wall between two windows which are adorned with valences and drapes. The name of the photography studio and geographic location are stamped on the verso, "Smith Brothers, Commercial Photographers, Arcadia Bldg., Woodward & Stimson, Detroit, Mich."
