Print. Black and white photographic print of an interior display of varying types of home appliances available for purchase at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Home appliances featured include Hudson and Eureka vacuums, and Speed Queen and Maytag washing machines. Signage affixed to the wall behind the vacuum display reads, "Select Your Vacuum Cleaner at the J.L. Hudson Co., 26 Models From Which to Choose." Also, signage at the top of the room perimeter reads, "1881-1941, Hudson's Sixtieth Anniversary Sale." The photographic sequence number is printed on the recto, "144288." Also, the name of the photography studio and their geographic location is stamped on the verso, "Manning Bros. Inc., Commercial Photographers, 333 State St. - Fifth Floor, Detroit, Michigan."
