One sepia-toned photograph that shows the rubble of a building that was damaged during the 1967 Detroit Riot. Beyond the rubble, several African-American men are standing or walking on the sidewalk near parked cars and trucks. Several businesses can be seen in the background along 12th Street, between Pingree and Philadelphia Avenues, including the House of Process Barber Shop, Oriental Casino Chop Suey, and the Fairway Super Market.
