The photo shows a row of fire trucks which are parked on a neighborhood baseball field that may have been used as a staging area during the 1967 Riot. Firemen are seated on several vehicles or are standing on the grassy field. Visitors are looking at the vehicles or are seated on the grass in the shade. One soldier is walking on the field in the center right area of the photo and an Army personnel carrier can be seen at the far right side. A red ink stamp on the verso shows "D.F.D. [Detroit Fire Department] Photo, by Capt. J. A. Mancinelli."
