Images of differing camps are displayed throughout the window, including those from Indian Trail Camp, Grace Bentley Camp, Camp Watervliet, Indian Beach Camp, Camp Arbutus For Girls, and Camp Takona. Signage in the right foreground reads, "Boys' and Girls' Camp Week, April 25 to May 3, The Michigan section of the American camping association advises parents to make reservations now for the 1947 camping season, Information on Boys' Camps, Junior Boys' Store, Second Floor, Farmer, Information on Girls' Camps, Fourth Floor, Farmer. Michigan has approximately 350 boys' and girls' camps, Attendance: Over 175,000 in 1946, including 77,000 from other states, Nearly 9,000 counselors and leaders, Operating costs approximately $4,000,000 annually, All camps licensed by Michigan Department of Social Welfare, Each camp is accredited annually for - swimming, water sports, food preparation, handing, sanitary toilet facilities, etc… Many have physicians; nearly all have a full-time nurse."
