Black and white photograph taken from the balcony inside of the Second Baptist Church, at 441 Monroe, Detroit. The pews are arranged in a semi-circular fashion on both the ground floor and the balcony. Just beyond the pews in the center of the photograph, a man stands facing to the right side. There is a second balcony above the alter, most likely for the choir. Above where the choir would sit is a circular stained glass piece. The photo is dated June 1974.
