Black and white photo taken of a World War II-era saving bond campaign window display at the J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A curved wall covered with portrait photos of uniformed members of the Armed Services is set up in the back of the case. A sign along the floor of the case's front reads, "Buy U.S. War Savings Bonds. Immediate Delivery War Bonds 11th Floor Woodward, Section D." A pillar decorated with stars, and holding a statue of an eagle at its top is at the center of the curve. In front of the pillar a sign is displayed, which reads, "[...] 870 Hudsonians Who Have Taken Up the Defense of America's Honor and Dignity. We Salute Them Proudly and Pledge to buy [...] all the War Savings Bonds We Can to Back Them Up." A relief statues Great Seal of the United States stand to the left and right of this sign. "7-7-43" and "18854-X" are printed in the lower right corner of the photo.
