Black and white group portrait photo identified on the verso as "Maple and St. Aubin Usher Board," presumably refering to St. John C.M.E. Church. The group of ushers stand on the steps leading up to a brick building. They are dressed in black and wearing a white carnation corsage on their left lapel. The women are wearing white gloves and some are wearing pearl necklaces. The name "Viola L. Allen" is also handwritten on the verso.
