Black and white photo taken of the room leading to a bank vault, presumably within the People’s State Savings Bank in the former State Savings Bank Building. Cashier John O. Bignell is seated at his desk to the left of the doors. A man and woman work at a counter to the right of the door. The door is made of steel bars and attended by a guard. Beyond, another guard stands within the open large circular vault door. "15044-1," is printed in the lower right corner. "Copy Craft, Inc., WO. 5-0950, 652146-3, 58 W. Adams, Detroit, Mich. 48226," is stamped on the verso.
