Black and white photo of Detroit Historical Commission employee John Jewell using a saw to work on a salvaged bow window which would be installed into the 1870s section of the Detroit Historical Museum's Streets of Old Detroit exhibit. HIs workshop has large barn-style doors, and also contains an anvil, old bed springs, and shelves. A stamped Detroit Historical Museum form is on the verso, filled in with the subject number 101, and the date, October 1950.
