Black and white photo of the storefront of a used furniture store at 1301 Rivard Street at the intersection with Macomb Street, taken during the salvage effort for the Detroit Historical Museum's Streets of Old Detroit exhibit. Signs in the store's windows advertise "Used Furniture Bought & Sold, Stoves Repaired," and "Expressing Ice & Coal." "R. Katus 1877" is engraved into a stone on the second floor of the building's facade. A stamped Detroit Historical Museum form is on the verso, filled in with the subject number 133, and the date, November 1950.
