Print. Black and white photographic print of an interior view of the Gratiot Avenue entryway inside The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. The ornate revolving doors are flanked with fluted pilasters decorated with images of Italy, and flags in celebration of Hudson's 58th Anniversary. Displays in the foreground feature available goods for the home, in the right foreground; and dinnerware in the left foreground. Signage and a clock above the entryway reads, "To Gratiot Ave." The photographic sequence number, and the photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "18080-A; Davis B. Hillmer." Also, the date is hand-written on the verso, "Sept. 1939."
