The display features an array of fountain pens, available in different colors and styles, as well as cans of ink. Also displayed are pen holders, and inkwells for the office. An image of a bride is visible atop the display, as well as ornamental sculptures and small brass figurines. The photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "23579-2x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer." Also, the date is hand-written on the verso, "1948."
