Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring men's business wear available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A male mannequin stands in the display adorned in a wool suit, tie and dress shirt. The mannequin is facing a trunk, propped on its side and open to display different types of male clothing including dress shirts, a fedora, and overcoat. Visible in the right corner is a dresser, with the picture of a woman perched atop it, a coat rack, and a suit case. Articles of clothing are hanging from the coat rack. Affixed to the rear of the display is a framed portrait of a man dressed in formal wear, and signage affixed to the bottom of the frame reads, "A Groom 1900." Signage in the central foreground reads, "For the Wedding, The groom's basic wardrobe for the wedding trip. He too, must concentrate on a trousseau." The photographic sequence number, date, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "18411-10x; 3-18-41; Davis B. Hillmer."
