Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring boys' California wear available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Two young boy mannequins are dressed in the latest casual clothing combinations, which include trousers, plaid shirt, and vest. An array of western images, and models of Conestoga wagons are also featured on the left side of the display; also noted is a horse saddle; signage in the shape of a boot and placed in front of the saddle reads, "The Saddle of Colonel William F. Cody, Presented to H. Beaugrand, Mayor of Montreal, by Hon. Wm. F. Cody, 'Buffalo Bill," August 15, 1865, Loaned to Hudson's by William N. Patterson, Webster Hall." Signage in front of the mannequins reads, "California Casuals, Dashing Combinations of Youthful Colors, Rugged Wool, Sizes 10 to 22, $17.95; Boys' Store, Second Floor, Farmer." The photographic sequence number, and date are printed on the bottom of the recto, "22395-2x; 3-6-46."
