Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring men's summer vacation wear, available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Men's sport coats, trousers, suspenders, loafers, and luggage are featured throughout the display. A large sign and fencing are visible in the rear of the display, and an image of a family boarding a sail boat is affixed to the sign which reads, "Let's Take A Holiday." Signage featured in the central foreground of the display reads, "For Your 4th of July Weekend, and Fun-in-the-Sun Vacation, Men's Store, Second Floor, Grand River." The date, photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "6-23-47; 22855-5x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
