Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring Pendleton Shirts available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A series of plaid shirts are featured under the gable of a log cabin; a young man in western wear is smiling back at the window. A lantern hangs above signage and a series of shirts, the sign reads, "Virgin Wool Fabrics by Pendleton." The right side of the window also features a series of shirts, and a small western man figuring climbing a fence, and a sign which reads, "Shirts by Pendleton, American's Finest Wool Shirts." Also, signage in the central foreground of the window reads, "It's Christmas Time at Hudson's, Present Him with Snug, Warm, PENDLETON SHIRTS, for Winter Hours Out of Doors - Men's Store, Second Floor, Grand River." The photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "22976-x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer." The date is hand-written on the verso, "1947."
