Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring differing types of men's goods featured and available during the Fair Internationale at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Men's clothing including plaid overcoats, a trench coat, patterned vests, neckties, and argyle socks are featured adjacent to three differing swags of fabric. Accompanying men's accessories are displayed and include binoculars, a camera, toiletry kit, a compass and a firearm. A large mural of a horserace is affixed to the rear of the display. Signage in the center of the window reads, "Hudson's Fair Internationale, See the world through the skills of its hands, Fair Internationale, September 14 through 26; Choose the new, the unusual, the seldom, seem the well-beloved, shop the globe, at Hudson's." The date, photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "9-15-53; 25730-10x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
