Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring Hickok Jewelry for men available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Many differing styles and types of cufflinks and tie pins are featured throughout the window with accompanying signage which reads, "Hickok … the gift he's sure to appreciate." Also featured is a large framed sign visible on the left side of the display and includes many differing types of masculine sporting events such as hunting and fishing, the sign reads, "A Gallery of Sports Jewelry by Hickok." Also, a smaller secondary framed image of a schooner is affixed to the right rear of the display. Signage in the central-left foreground reads, "New Sportsman Jewelry, Distinctive, colorful touches for men who like a masculine sparkle in their apparel, Men's Store… First Floor, Woodward, Section F." The company name and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer." The date is hand-written on the verso, "Oct. 1953." Also, stamped on the verso is the name, address and telephone number of the photographer, "Davis B. Hillmer Commercial Photography, 8825 Second Ave. Detroit 2, Michigan. TR 5-7620, TR 2-8000."
