Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of an interior view of the twelfth floor Auditorium decorated for the Christmas holiday, at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. The upper perimeter of the auditorium is ornamented with Christmas trees, and vignettes which tell the Night Before Christmas story, the caption on one of the vignettes reads, "When out of the lawn there arose such a clatter, I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter." Kiosks stocked with the latest toys are featured throughout, and include books in the right foreground, mechanical car toys, model trucks, board games, and tea sets. The company's name and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
