Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display which features the All American Soap Box Derby, displayed at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Images of the derby race adorn the foreground of the window. Flags ornament the rear of the window, as well as wheels, helmets, and a derby trophy. A car is featured on the right side of the display, and a boy mannequin is seated in the driver's seat. The sponsor, "Akron Beacon Journal" is painted on the side of the car. Signage in the central foreground reads, "Car Used by Claude Smith, Soap Box Derby Winner of 1941, National and International Champion from Akron, Ohio." The date, and photographic sequence number are printed on the bottom of the recto, "6-24-46; 22492-6x."
