Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring women's day wear fashions available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Two female mannequins stand on the left and right sides of the display and each are adorned in similar styles of knitwear, including tops, and skirts. The same style of clothing is affixed to a circular display in the rear of the window. Ladies accessories are also featured and include hats, handbags, gloves, and footwear. Signage in the center of the display reads "The Town and Country Dress, Knitted of Soft Chenille, $16.95, Sports Apparel, 5th Floor, Woodward, Grand River." Printed on the bottom of the recto, "Lampl Knitwear Display, J.L. Hudson Co., Detroit." Also printed on the recto is the photographic sequence number, and photographer's name, "17668; Davis B. Hillmer."
