Print. Black and white photographic print of an interior display featuring a female mannequin wearing sportswear available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. The mannequin is wearing a while cable-knit sweater with three-quarter length sleeve s, and buttons down the left shoulder and side, as well as an athletic skirt, and tennis shoes. Next to the mannequin is an enlarged copy of the cover of 'Life' magazine features a lady on the cover dressed in the same clothing, sauntering down a series of brick stairs. The magazine is dated, May 9, 1938. Signage reads, "Hudson's Presents, Sports Clothes…as seen in *Life*." The photographic sequence number and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "17838-B; Davis B. Hillmer."
