Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring ladies sportswear as it appears in 'Life' magazine, and is available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Eight female mannequins are displayed in the latest sportswear fashions which include those for sun bathing, tennis, golf, and day wear. Skirts, sweaters, trousers, tennis outfits, dresses, and bathing suits are displayed along with accessories which include handbags, hats, footwear, and floral embellishments. Images from 'Life' magazine are affixed to the rear of the display, including an over-sized image of a young woman sauntering on the cover. Signage in the central foreground reads, "LIFE, Features Hudson's Sportswear Shops, Fifth Floor, Woodward, Grand River." The photographic sequence number, and photographer's name are printed on the recto, "17838-x; Davis B. Hillmer."
