Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring ladies evening gowns available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Two female mannequins stand on either side of a framed portrait of "A Bride, 1920;" the mannequin on the left is adorned in a full-length gown, with an embellished bodice, fur coat, handbag and gloves' while the right mannequin is adorned in a full-length patterned satin gown with rushing, and cap sleeves. Signage in the central foreground reads, "Your Evening and Dinner Gown Will be Subtly Important When They Are the Cynosure of All Eyes, Gown Shop, 6th Floor, Woodward." The photographic sequence number, date, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "18411-12x; 3-18-41; Davis B. Hillmer."
