Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display which features ladies sportswear available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Three female mannequins are dressed in sportswear for varying types of activities including golf. The two ladies standing feature knee-length skirts, patterned blouses, headwear and a jacket. The mannequin on the right side of the display is dressed in trousers, sandals, and a long-sleeve blouse; she is seated on a woven rug. A series of wedding bells hang in the rear of the display which is also adorned with small ornamental branches. Signage in the central foreground reads, "Bride's Week, The Bride of Today - Likes Active Sports Clothes - that are trim, young and functional! Separates Shop, Fifth Floor, Grand River." Also, smaller signage in the far left foreground reads, "Consult, Carolyn Chase, Brides' Secretary - She will help you with your wedding plans and details! Gown Shop, Sixth Floor, Woodward."
