Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display which features differing styles of ladies fabrics available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A female mannequin stands on the right side of the window dressed in the latest Butterick pattern fashions, which include a monogrammed, short sleeve, knee-length dress. The mannequin is holding a large piece of fabric in her right hand, accompanying other bolts of fabric which are featured in the window. Butterick pattern fashion books are displayed throughout the window. Signage in the central-right foreground reads, "Individually Yours… Spun Rayons, By Everlast, to complete your summer wardrobe, For dresses, slacks, 39 inches wide, 89¢ yard, Third Floor, Woodward." Also, signage displayed across the foreground of the window reads, "Buy U.S. War Savings Bonds, Immediate Delivery, WAR BONDS, 11th Floor, Woodward, Section D." The photographic sequence number, and date are printed on the bottom of the recto, "18848-11x; 6-28-43."
