Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring ladies furs, available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Five female mannequins are displayed equally apart through the display, and each is dressed in a knee length fur coat including beaver, squirrel, and mink; each lady is also adorned with a fashionable hat. Some of the furs featured jeweled embellishments. Notations regarding the type of fur and price are displayed at the foot of each mannequin. A large mural of a pedestrian and town scene is affixed to the rear of the display. Signage in the central foreground reads, "Advance Selling, Furs, Specially Priced, Beautiful Brown Furs, from a Comprehensive Collection, Fur Salon, Sixth Floor, Farmer." Also, signage displayed across the foreground of the window reads, "Buy U.S. War Savings Bonds, Immediate Delivery, WAR BONDS, 11th Floor, Woodward, Section D." The photographic sequence number, date, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "18854-2x; 7-17-43; Davis B. Hillmer."
