Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display which features ladies daytime fashions available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Two female mannequins are featured in the display, the mannequin on the right is dressed in a knee-length skirt, button down blouse, and is accessorized with a hat, handbag and peep-toe sandals. The mannequin on the left side of the display is featured in shorts, and a sleeveless top, she too is wearing peep-toe sandals, and is walking a dog. A third ladies outfit is featured at the foot of the right mannequin and is a skirt and blouse combination. Fix netting is draped throughout the display, and signage featured underneath a fern in the left foreground reads, "The Play Clothes Shop is Open! Fifth Floor!" The date, photographic sequence number, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "5-8-44; 18950-4x; Davis B. Hillmer."
