Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display which features ladies summertime fashions available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A female mannequin stands at the center of the display dressed in a light-colored short sleeve, belted, floor-length dress. An ornamented cement garden bench neighbors the mannequin and features ladies toiletries; a bird bath and garden foliage are also featured. Signage affixed to the rear of the display features the cover of a 'Vogue' magazine, and reads, "Beauty Issue: Summer Elements." Signage draped from the bench onto the patio pavers on the ground reads, "Vogue Charts Your Switch to Summer, Tan-By-Plan for Summer Evenings! Green Room, Sixth Floor, Woodward, Toiletries, First Floor, Woodward." The photographic sequence number, and date are printed on the bottom of the recto, "5-13-46; 2251-4x."
