Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring ladies summertime fashions available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Two female mannequins stand on the opposing sides of pylons, with an affixed mooring ring; the left mannequin is adorned in a two-piece bathing suit, with skirt, and belt detail. Dressed on the right mannequin are a pair of dark-colored shorts and a long, short sleeved, lightly colored belted blouse. Netting and a life preserver are affixed to the rear of the display along with an enlarged cover of 'Mademoiselle' magazine, which reads, "Looking Where You're Going Number!" The outfit featured on the cover is duplicated on the right mannequin. Signage in the central foreground reads, "That Mademoiselle Look, Wherever You're Going on Your Vacation - to the Beach, Beach and Playclothes Shop, Fifth Floor, Grand River." The photographic sequence number is printed on the bottom of the recto, "22451-11x."
