Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring ladies evening fashions available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Two female mannequins stand at the center of the display, and each are featured in full-length gowns, the left mannequin is dressed in a light colored A-line gown, with full length sleeves, and a sleeveless bolero jacket; the right mannequin is also dressed in a lightly colored gown with pleating at the waist, and sheer full-length sleeves, and a sleeveless jacket with front buttons. A fencer in protective clothing is affixed to the wall in the right background. Signage in the left foreground reads, "Traina-Norell's Fencing Silhouette, Gown Shop, Sixth Floor, Woodward." The date, and photographic sequence number are printed on the bottom of the recto, "10-28-46; 22671-8x."
