Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring college girl fashions available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Four female mannequins are featured in the window, and each feature differing styles of college girl fashions, the mannequin on the far right is featured in a plaid overcoat, gloves, and had; the central-right mannequin is dressed in a pleated, plaid skirt with pocket detailing, and three-quarter length sleeves. The far left mannequin is featured in a knee-length dress, with a cinched, belted waist, cap sleeves, and mandarin collar, and central left mannequin is wearing a floor-length evening gown, with ruffled sleeves and collar. An oversized copy of 'Seventeen' magazine is affixed to the rear of the display, which also includes signage that reads, "As We Advertise in September 'Seventeen' Fashions from Our Teen-High Shop, Fourth Floor, Grand River." The same signage is visible in the left foreground. The date, photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "9-10-47; 22920-4x; The J.L.
