Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring ladies fashions and housewares available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Three female mannequins, all wearing a similar style of dress which includes a calf-length skirt, cinched waist with belt, button front and collar. Accompanying the ladies are home furnishings which include a dining room table, set with a lace table cloth, crystal glassware, and coffee cups, and a small buffet with a silver coffee pot. Potted hardy mums ornament the front of the display. Signage visible behind a plant reads, "Hudson's and House and Garden say… Live as Well as You Look, Indulge Your Flair for the Dramatic, Studio of Interior Decoration, 8th Floor, Woodward, Section E." Smaller neighboring signage reads, "Fashions from the Misses Shop, Seventh Floor, Woodward."
