Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring ladies summertime fashions available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A female mannequin stands in the right foreground of the display dressed in a patterned skirt, and sleeveless blouse. Bolts of pattered fabric are draped throughout the display. The window is ornamented with large butterflies including an oversized butterfly outline affixed to the front of the window. Signage in the rear of the display reads, "Permanently Pretty, Everglaze Cotton, So well behaved you'll enjoy the easiest Summer of your life, For your wardrobe… cottons with a fresh clean look that do not limp, not even in the hottest weather, Cotton Fabric Shop, 3rd Floor, Woodward."
