Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring ladies overcoats available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Two female mannequins are featured on the left and right sides of the display; a large mental partition with abstract floral detailing is featured in the center with ladies accessories and affixed signage. The signage reads, "Vogue Americana Number, 1950, Eyes on U.S.A. fashions, Here Goes an American." Neighboring signage also reads, "Major Fashion Trends, From Hudson's Spring Collection, and Seen in Vogue's Americana Edition, The 1950 Overcoat in Gay Color… Woodward Shops - 7th Floor, Section E." Featured on the left mannequin is a mid-length coat with cuffs, front button closure, and pocket detailing; the right mannequin also features a mid-length coat, and has a notched lapel, pocket detailing and cuffed sleeves. Ladies accessories including hats, gloves, and handbags are featured in the display.
