Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring ladies suiting available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Two female mannequins are featured in the latest fashions for suiting and outerwear; the left mannequin features a fitted jacket with full skirt bottom, button enclosure, and notched lapel, whereas the right mannequin features a straight knee-length skirt, with box-style jacket, also with pocket detailing, button enclosure, and cuffed sleeves. The ladies are also accessorized with hats, gloves, scarves, handbags, and footwear. An enlarged cover of 'Vogue' magazine is affixed to the ornamental gate in the center of the display, the magazine cover reads, "VOGUE Americana Number 1951, U.S.A. Heartbeat, February 1, 1951." Also, signage in the central foreground reads, "For Spring Hudson's and Vogue Summarize, The Changing Look, Trends that pace the evolution of American Fashion, The Fitted Coat, Full Skirt, The New Box Coat, Coat Shop in the Woodward Shops Seventh Floor."
