Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring ladies suiting available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. The two female mannequins are displayed in calf-length A-line skirts, with similar designed jackets which feature button front enclosures, pocket detailing, and cuffed sleeves. Accessories compliment the suiting which includes headwear, gloves, jewelry, and bracelets. Ladies accessories are also featured at the foot of the right mannequin and include similar styles of those featured on the mannequins. Signage suspended in the rear center of the display also includes ladies accessories and reads, "We underscore two important fashion points for Sumer… First, the news in fabric, Linen, crisp, concise, well-mannered; Second, the news in color, Gray, significant in many shades; Green Room in the Woodward Shops… 7th Floor." The date, photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "4-11-51; 25200-7x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
